what kind of mind does a designer have,

A designer is some one whose abstract in thoughts he could be regarded as someone who sees the world differently it helps him in his ability to be creative.

A designer can be recognize by the following features 

they pay  attention to details

they are very sensitive 

they spend long time on little details

they may not  seem sane 

they are high risk takers

they see things in pictures

A designer has the ability to motivate and inspire with work,no doubt the mind of a designer is a bank of idea'sand inspiring thoughts that he brings to life in his work.
